  • Develop and maintain cost forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis
  • Lead monthly WIP reporting, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and margin tracking
  • Partner with Project Managers to identify financial risks and implement corrective actions
  • Track and analyze labor productivity and job cost performance
  • Manage the change order process (pricing, tracking, approvals, and impact to budget)
  • Monitor subcontractor and vendor costs, ensuring alignment with project budgets
  • Support billing, cash flow forecasting, and collections
  • Build and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools for leadership visibility
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, financial controls, and internal processes

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in project controls, project accounting, or cost control within construction
  • Understanding of Contracts, direct, indirect and overhead rates
  • Strong preference for experience with an electrical contractor or specialty subcontractor
  • Proven experience supporting commercial, multifamily, or mission-critical projects (data centers, healthcare, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of job cost accounting, WIP reporting, and forecasting
  • Experience managing change orders and cost variance analysis
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, forecasting models, financial tracking)
  • Experience with tools like Procore, Viewpoint Vista, or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both field teams and executive leadership

  • Full benefits (medical, dental, vision)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Exposure to high-profile, large-scale projects
