Position Summary
Hays Electrical Services is seeking a reliable and professional Front Desk / Office Coordinator to support daily office operations at its Houston location. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers, while also assisting with internal office coordination and administrative support functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment. Spanish language skills are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in visitors and prospective clients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate personnel
- Manage and route general inquiries to the correct departments
- Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate restocking as needed
- Coordinate scheduling and availability of on-site office spaces
- Manage and update office scheduling using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams
- Support general front desk operations and administrative tasks
- Assist with additional office coordination duties as required
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative support role
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish language proficiency (spoken)
- Experience working in a construction or trades-based office environment
