Position Summary

The VDC Senior Designer is responsible for producing and coordinating detailed electrical models for large-scale commercial and mission critical projects. This role supports preconstruction and field operations by developing accurate, constructible designs that align with project specifications and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical models.
Perform clash detection and coordination with other trades.
Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure modeling accuracy.
Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Pre-Construction teams.
Support prefabrication planning and layout development.
Revise models to reflect design changes and field adjustments.
Maintain documentation and modeling standards.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

Proven experience in electrical modeling for commercial or mission critical projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard BIM/VDC software.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction documents.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
