Position Overview: 
Hays Electrical Services is seeking a motivated Project interface coordinator to assist with field operations for large-scale multifamily and high-rise electrical construction across the nation. As the project interface coordinator, you will be responsible for acting as a liaison between various teams and managing subcontractor pay schedules.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the liaison between project management, accounting and subcontractors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial transactions across all active projects. 

  • Collaborate with Project Management teams to track pay schedules and prioritize accounts payable (AP). 

  • Manage and maintain all aspects of subcontractor payouts—from scheduling and application receipt to verification and approval. 

  • Accurately document and record financial transaction details for project accounting. 

  • Review subcontractor financial submissions and supporting documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with contract terms. 

  • Develop and maintain project plans and payout timelines, ensuring adherence to critical deadlines. 

  • Coordinate with subcontractors to confirm that payment applications are complete, accurate, and aligned with project progress. 

  • Ensure company-wide consistency and compliance with financial processes and project documentation standards. 

  • Communicate project updates, payment issues, and risks to the Operations Manager in a timely and clear manner. 

Qualifications: 

  • Highschool Diploma or GED required 

  • Minimum 2 year of experience in a bookkeeping or a coordinator role preferred 

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office software applications, specifically Excel 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
