Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will lead and oversee all accounting functions for our panel manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting, job cost oversight, financial reporting, and internal controls while partnering closely with operations and leadership to support strategic growth.

Job Duties:
Accounting Operations & Oversight
Lead full-cycle accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain and strengthen internal controls and GAAP compliance
Manufacturing & Job Cost Accounting
Oversee job costing for engineered-to-order manufacturing projects, including labor, materials, overhead, WIP, and margin analysis
Partner with operations, production, and project management to ensure accurate project financial tracking
Review cost variances, profitability trends, and operational efficiencies
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and KPIs
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership for decision-making
Leadership & Process Improvement
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff as the department scales
Establish clear accountability, performance expectations, and development plans
Foster a culture of accuracy, ownership, and continuous improvement
Systems & Compliance
Optimize ERP and accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Sage, or similar) to support reporting and operational needs
Develop, document, and enhance accounting policies and procedures
Coordinate audits, tax filings, and work with external accounting partners
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Associate’s or equivalent experience considered)
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong manufacturing or industrial background
Advance proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Sage, or similar), accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.) and Microsoft Excel
Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Extensive experience with job costing, project accounting, and manufacturing cost structures
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
U.S. work authorization without sponsorship
Ability to pass background and drug screenings
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in an engineered-to-order (ETO) manufacturing environment
10+ years of experience in AP, AR, and accounting
Prior experience managing accounting teams
ERP implementation or optimization experience
CPA or CMA (preferred, not required)
